What’s the newest Autumn trend that you absolutely need to be on top of this exciting season? As the leaves change and the air turns crisp, staying informed about the latest styles is essential for any fashion enthusiast.
I have never been so glad that Autumn is finally here. The UK weather is awful and humid and no-one quite gets the pain more than a British person. You will always get someone who isn’t from the UK say that “Our heat is so much worse!” but they just don’t understand! It’s a you-have-to-be-there moment for sure. Now we have the crispy leaves at our feet, some what liveable temperatures and more importantly the new fashion trends that graced our screens on Tik Tok and Pinterest.
Scrolling through social media platforms, I have noticed a significant rise in the popularity of an old trend, along with the enduring trends that have been with us for many ages. Without further ado, let’s dive right in to explore what I have discovered as the biggest trends that are shaping the fashion landscape for Autumn 2024.
1. Leopard Print
Leopard print is currently popping up everywhere this Autumn, making a bold statement across various fashion collections and street styles. Animal print has always been a staple in fashion, making a strong statement throughout the years. However, in recent times, we’ve seen less of it on the runways and in retail. This year, though, it has made a notable and exciting comeback, proving once again its timeless appeal and versatility in contemporary style.
It’s timeless appeal allows for effortless styling; pairing a leopard print blouse with tailored black trousers creates a sophisticated look for the office, while a flowing leopard skirt can elevate a casual outfit into one that's perfect for the evening. To dress it up further, consider adding a tailored blazer and statement accessories, such as bold earrings or a chic handbag, to enhance the overall aesthetic.

This is truly one of my absolute favourite looks this season. The iconic fur-ended coats are simply to die for, especially during this chilly and beautifully autumnal season. Boho fashion has always been an integral part of the style conversation, originally emerging from natural elements and a rich tapestry of ethnic influences that reached their peak in the vibrant decades of the 60s and 70s. Celebrities such as the Olsen Twins frequently don this free-spirited look, showcasing their unique interpretations of Boho style in various settings.
From funky prints in vibrant colours to floaty maxi dresses that flow elegantly with each movement, along with earthy tones that evoke a natural aesthetic, a boho dress is arguably one of the easiest and most stylish ways you can effortlessly add those delightful bohemian vibes to your wardrobe.
3. Plaid Print
Plaid is making a remarkable comeback, as it does every Fall season. This time, it's showing up in a variety of stylish skirts, but we can’t go wrong with an entire all-Plaid ensemble- Thank you Chanel we all say in Unison.
The common criss-cross pattern was once widely popularized by Chanel’s iconic fashion shows. This timeless design features clean lines and employs a unique weaving technique that enhances its visual appeal and sophistication.
